Church History March 16, 1979 -I’m A Part Missionary Baptist Church was founded and organized by Apostle Lance Tripplett of Memphis, TN with a bible study group of 6 people at South 18th Street and VanBuren in West Memphis, AR. Those in attendance were Mothers Betty Murphy, Mary Johnson, Amanda Stringfellow, Gracie Brown, and Mary Williams. Under the leadership of Apostle Lance Tripplett, IAP moved to 717 South 11th St, West Memphis until his resignation 3 1/2 years later.

Pastor Arlen K. Parham

Pastor of I Am A Part Missionary Baptist Church

Pastor Arlen K. Parham was born in Bearden, AR to the late Pastor Arlen Ray Parham and loving mother Gladysteen Parham. He attended the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff (UAPB) and received a bachelor’s degree in General Studies. Pastor Parham earned a Master of Divinity in Chaplaincy from Liberty University. He currently working Doctor of Ministry in Chaplaincy at Liberty University. He is a member of the Arkansas National Guard where he is a Military Chaplain.
